Jasper van 't Hof, born in 1947 in Enschede, Netherlands, is a renowned Dutch jazz pianist and keyboardist who has left an indelible mark on the European jazz scene. With a career spanning over five decades, van 't Hof has recorded more than 80 albums, showcasing his versatility and innovation across genres such as free jazz, jazz fusion, and world music. His impressive discography is a testament to his constant reinvention and musical prowess. Van 't Hof's journey to fame was solidified with the release of "Pili Pili" in 1984, a captivating 15-minute trance collaboration with Guinea's legendary percussionist Mory Kanté.
