David Grimal is a distinguished French violinist renowned for his virtuosity and innovative approach to classical music. Beginning his musical journey at the tender age of five, Grimal's talent quickly blossomed, earning him the First Prize in violin and chamber music at the Conservatoire de Paris in 1993. His postgraduate studies under Régis Pasquier and masterclasses with legends like Isaac Stern and Shlomo Mintz further honed his skills, enriching his musicality and technique.

Grimal is celebrated not only for his solo performances but also for his leadership roles. He is the founder and concertmaster of Les Dissonances, a European classical music orchestra that brings together international soloists and young talents. Under his baton-less direction, the orchestra embodies a spirit of collaboration and musical excellence. Additionally, Grimal serves as a soloist and conductor for various prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra and the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Lorraine.

Playing the exquisite "Ex Roederer" Stradivarius from 1710, Grimal's performances are marked by their depth, emotional resonance, and technical brilliance.
