"Cancioneros del Siglo de Oro" is a monumental collection of Renaissance music, meticulously curated and conducted by the renowned Jordi Savall. The album is a compilation of three seminal songbooks: the Cancionero de la Colombina, the Cancionero Musical de Palacio, and the Cancionero de Medinaceli. Performed by La Capella Reial de Catalunya and Hespèrion XX, the album features a diverse range of vocal and instrumental pieces, from intricate polyphonic songs to lively dances.
