Released in 2005 under the Le Chant du Monde label, this album is the brainchild of renowned French vibraphonist and composer Franck Tortiller, who leads the Orchestre National de Jazz in this ambitious project.

The album spans 57 minutes and features 13 tracks, each offering a unique interpretation of Led Zeppelin's classic songs. Franck Tortiller and his ensemble skillfully recreate the legendary rock group's universe, delivering distinctive and powerful renditions of beloved hits such as "Stairway to Heaven," "Kashmir," "Black Dog," and "The Rain Song." The album was initially conceived as part of the Close to Heaven program, created at the Rencontres Internationales de Jazz de Nevers in November 2004, and co-produced by the Europa Jazz Festival, Djaz 51, and Jazz à Couches.
