Astrig Siranossian is a captivating French cellist of Armenian descent, born into a musical family in Lyon in 1988. Her prodigious talent was evident from a young age, performing at just three years old and gaining admission to the Lyon Regional Conservatoire at eight. Siranossian's musical journey took her to the Lyon National Conservatoire, where she graduated with highest distinction at eighteen, and then to the Basel Conservatory to study under the renowned Ivan Monighetti.

Her career is marked by numerous accolades, including the First Prize and multiple Special Prizes at the Krzysztof Penderecki International Cello Competition. Siranossian has performed with leading orchestras and artists worldwide, showcasing her emotive and technically masterful playing. Her repertoire spans chamber music and concertos, with several albums to her credit, including a tribute to Nadia Boulanger.

Beyond her musical achievements, Astrig Siranossian is also an artistic director of music festivals and the founder of a charity supporting children in Lebanon and Armenia. Her performances are noted for their unique blend of vocal melody and cello sound, creating a double-voiced experience that is both timeless and contemporary.
