Born in 1950, Schneider has made significant contributions to the music world, with a catalog that includes eight operas, oratorios, and a variety of instrumental and vocal works. His compositions often draw inspiration from surreal and imaginative themes, as seen in his double concertos and other orchestral pieces. Schneider's "Orbe Rotundo," conceived as a companion to Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana," showcases his ability to create enduring and evocative musical experiences.
