His most celebrated piece, "Misa Criolla" (1964), is a groundbreaking mass in Spanish that blends traditional Latin American rhythms and instruments, reflecting his deep fascination with the music of the gauchos and Andean people. Ramírez's extensive training, which included studies in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Rome, and Vienna, coupled with his role as the President of the Society of Authors and Composers of the Republic of Argentina (SADAIC), underscores his significant contributions to the music world.
