His academic pursuits included theater studies, German literature, art history, philosophy, and sociology, along with training at the Schauspielschule in Cologne. Görner's career was marked by his versatility, working on various German stages and leaving a significant mark as a reciter, particularly through his popular television series "Lyrik für alle."
