Przemek Dyakowski is a legendary figure in the Polish jazz scene, renowned for his exceptional skills as a saxophonist, composer, and cultural animator. Born in Kraków in 1935, Dyakowski's musical journey began in the vibrant jazz clubs of 1950s and 1960s Kraków, where he honed his craft and became a staple of the city's jazz scene. His career took off when he joined the iconic Piwnica pod Baranami, where he played with some of the most influential jazz musicians of the time.

Throughout his illustrious career, Przemek Dyakowski has performed at prestigious festivals such as Jazz Jamboree, Jazz w Filharmonii, and Gdynia Summer Jazz Days. He has shared the stage with international jazz greats like Cab Calloway, Shirley Jones, and Elaine Delmar, cementing his status as a jazz maestro. Beyond his musical prowess, Dyakowski is also known for his role as a presenter and conference host, adding another layer to his multifaceted career.

Dyakowski's contributions to the jazz community extend beyond performance. He is the founder of the Sax Club and the National Blues and Jazz Youth Bands Competition in Gdynia, as well as the organizer of the Jazz All Souls' Day concerts at the Franciscan Church in Gdynia.
