Her artistic journey began early, with a childhood filled with drawing and a deep connection to her cultural heritage. Inspired by her grandparents, one of whom was a traditional dot painter in ochre, Armstrong's work is a vibrant blend of her Aboriginal roots and personal experiences. After obtaining a teaching degree, she made her official artistic debut in 2015, thanks to an opportunity from a Danish art gallery owner. Armstrong's art is a vivid exploration of her cultural identity and the landscapes of her youth, offering viewers a unique and immersive experience. Today, she resides in Bendigo, Victoria, with her partner and daughter, continuing to create and inspire with her distinctive style.
