About Antoine Oomen

Antoine Oomen is a renowned Dutch composer, conductor, and pianist whose music has deeply enriched the liturgical landscape. Born in Amsterdam, Oomen's musical journey began at a young age, serving as a church organist and entering the Amsterdam Music Conservatory as a piano student at just 10 years old. His collaboration with the esteemed priest and poet Huub Oosterhuis has yielded over four hundred songs, including 150 Psalms and several significant works like Christmas oratorios and a Passion according to Luke.
