Giovanni Maier is an accomplished Italian composer and bassist whose musical journey spans over three decades. Beginning his professional career in 1986 after graduating from the "G. He co-founded the Transition Jazz Group and has since collaborated with a myriad of renowned musicians, including Enrico Rava, Cecil Taylor, and Anthony Braxton, among others.
