About Anna Korondi

Anna Korondi, born in Budapest in 1969, is a renowned Hungarian soprano celebrated for her powerful performances in both opera and concert settings. Her vocal journey began in her native Budapest, where she studied at the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music. She further honed her craft at the Vienna Conservatory, graduating with distinction under the tutelage of Margarete Bence and David Lutz. Korondi's career took off with engagements at prestigious venues such as the Komische Oper in Berlin and the Bonn Opera. She made a notable debut at the Bavarian State Opera in the title role of Aribert Reimann's "La Casa de Bernarda Alba," conducted by Zubin Mehta. Beyond her performing career, Korondi has been an esteemed Academic voice teacher at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin since 2013. Her discography includes captivating recordings like "Credo" and "Handel: Italian Cantatas," showcasing her versatility and artistic depth.
