Ramsey Emmanuel Lewis Jr. was a legendary American jazz pianist, composer, and radio personality, born in Chicago, Illinois. He began playing piano at the age of four and went on to record over 80 albums, earning five gold records and three Grammy Awards, including the 1965 Grammy for Best Jazz Performance for his critically acclaimed album "The In Crowd."
