Marilyn Mazur is a dynamic force in the world of jazz percussion, blending her American roots with her Danish home to create a unique and captivating sound. With a career spanning over five decades, Mazur has established herself as a master percussionist, composer, and bandleader, known for her innovative approach and powerful performances. She is an autodidact who honed her skills with a degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Music and has collaborated with jazz legends such as Miles Davis, Gil Evans, and Wayne Shorter.
