Rolv Wesenlund was a multifaceted Norwegian entertainer, renowned for his comedic genius, captivating performances, and musical talents. Born in Horten, Norway, in 1936, Wesenlund began his career as a jazz musician, even winning the Norwegian amateur championship twice. His journey took him from the jazz scene to the stage, where he became a celebrated revue writer and actor, performing at prestigious venues like Chat Noir, Trøndelag Teater, and Oslo Nye Teater.

Wesenlund's career spanned over four decades, during which he left an indelible mark on Norwegian entertainment. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Marve Fleksnes, the proud and arrogant storage worker in the iconic TV series "Fleksnes," which aired from 1972 to 2002. His other notable works include the musical and film adaptations of "Bør Børson." Beyond acting, Wesenlund was also a gifted singer and clarinetist, showcasing his musical prowess in various recordings. His contributions to Norwegian comedy and culture are immense, making him a beloved figure in his home country.
