Håkan Hardenberger, born in Malmö, Sweden, is celebrated as one of the world's foremost trumpet soloists, renowned for his phenomenal performances and innovative spirit. His career is marked by a relentless pursuit of musical excellence and a commitment to expanding the repertoire for his instrument. Hardenberger has collaborated with some of the most esteemed composers of our time, including Harrison Birtwistle, György Ligeti, and Mark-Anthony Turnage, premiering works that push the boundaries of what is possible on the trumpet.
