Henri Vieuxtemps, born in 1820 in Verviers, Belgium, was a prodigious violinist and composer whose influence resonates through the annals of classical music. Recognized as one of the most celebrated violinists of the 19th century, Vieuxtemps' virtuosity and compositions have left an indelible mark on the world of music.
