Eagles of Death Metal, hailing from Palm Desert, California, is an American rock band that has been making waves since their formation in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, the duo is known for their unique blend of stoner rock, garage rock, and blues rock influences. While Homme is a founding member, he is rarely seen performing live due to his commitments with his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. Hughes, on the other hand, is a constant presence, both in the studio and on stage. The band's current touring lineup includes Leah Bluestein on drums, Scott Shiflett on guitar, Jennie Vee on bass, and Rex Roulette on guitar.

Eagles of Death Metal is renowned for their high-energy performances and their distinctive sound, which has garnered them a dedicated fanbase. Their discography includes four studio albums, with their debut, "Peace, Love, Death Metal," released in 2004. The band's name is a playful mix of death metal and the Eagles, reflecting their humorous and irreverent approach to music. Despite facing tragedy when their concert at the Bataclan theatre in Paris was targeted by terrorists in 2015, Eagles of Death Metal continues to tour and release new music, showcasing their resilience and passion for performing.
