Alessandro Melani

Alessandro Melani, born into a family of musicians in Pistoia in 1639, was a prominent Italian composer of the 17th century. As the youngest of seven brothers, all but one of whom were musicians, Melani's musical prowess was nurtured from an early age. He is renowned for his significant contributions to the Roman musical scene, standing alongside giants like Bernardo Pasquini and Alessandro Scarlatti.
