Alexander Plocek

Alexander Plocek, a renowned violinist born in 1914 and passing away in 1982, was a distinguished figure in the classical music scene. A pupil of the esteemed Sevcik, Kocian, and Alexanian, Plocek honed his skills to become a celebrated concert violinist and former concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic. His collaborations, such as the one with Karel Ančerl and the Czech Philharmonic on the Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra in G-Sharp Minor, Op. 24, showcase his mastery and the ethereal quality of his solo performances.
