Anatoly Lyadov

Anatoly Konstantinovich Lyadov, born in 1855 in St. Petersburg, was a prominent Russian composer, teacher, and conductor, deeply rooted in the rich musical heritage of his country. Lyadov's musical journey began under the informal tutelage of his step-father, the renowned conductor Konstantin Lyadov, before he formally entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory to study piano and violin.
