Attilio Novellino is an Italian sound artist and musician, born in Catanzaro in 1983, who crafts immersive, experimental soundscapes that blend dark ambient textures with elements of drone, deep basses, field recordings, and harsh distortions. His work, which often incorporates guitar, electronics, and piano, explores the psycho-acoustic potential of sound, creating atmospheric and evocative compositions. Novellino's debut release came in 2009, and since then, he has been honing his unique approach to sound art. His project "Sentimental Machines," a collaboration with Saverio Rosi, and his composition "Mute Sirens," which received an honourable mention at the 18th annual awards, are notable highlights of his career.
