Carl Stamitz

Carl Stamitz, born in 1745, was a prominent German composer of partial Czech ancestry, celebrated as the most notable representative of the second generation of the Mannheim School. Hailing from a distinguished musical family, Stamitz's compositions are renowned for their virtuosity and innovation. He was extraordinarily popular during his lifetime and is often studied alongside contemporaries like Mozart.
