Daleema

Daleema is a renowned South Indian playback singer and politician, born on 30 May 1969 in Ezhupunna, Kerala. With a career spanning over two decades, she has lent her melodious voice to numerous Malayalam films and is celebrated for her devotional songs, both Christian and Hindu. Daleema's journey in music began with her training in Carnatic music under the guidance of Ramankutty Master, and she has since won three state awards for her contributions to the industry. Beyond her musical achievements, Daleema made history as the first playback singer to be elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly, representing the Aroor Constituency.
