Ensemble MidtVest, founded in 2002, is a dynamic and versatile chamber ensemble based in Denmark, renowned for its high-quality performances and innovative musical experiences. Comprising a string trio, wind quintet, and pianist, the ensemble is dedicated to making classical music accessible to modern audiences by presenting a rich repertoire from the past 500 years, as well as exploring free improvisation. Their 2024-2025 season, titled "Phloem – alt er forbindelser," focuses on various connections: between people, nature, and classical music.
