Ewa Pobłocka, born on November 21, 1957, in Chełmno, Poland, is a renowned pianist and pedagogue, celebrated as one of the most distinguished artists of her generation. Hailing from a musical family, she began her piano journey at the tender age of five. Pobłocka's illustrious career includes winning numerous international piano competitions, notably the Giovanni Battista Viotti International Music Competition and securing the V prize at the prestigious Chopin Competition in 1980. Known for her exquisite performances of chamber music and solo repertoire, she has captivated audiences worldwide. Beyond her performing career, Pobłocka is a highly respected educator, leading piano classes at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and the Music University in Warsaw. She also conducts masterclasses globally and serves as a jury member in international piano competitions.
