Ezgi Yürümez

Ezgi Yürümez is a captivating violinist and educator, born in Erzincan, Turkey, in 1991. Her musical journey began at the tender age of ten, when she fell in love with the sound of her own voice and decided to pick up the violin, a decision that would shape her life's trajectory. Ezgi commenced her conservatory education in Istanbul at just thirteen years old, later graduating with honours and continuing her academic pursuits with a doctorate focused on the esteemed composer Kaija Saariaho. Her passion for music is matched only by her dedication to pedagogy, inspired by her own educational experiences. Ezgi's performances and teachings are a testament to her deep understanding and love for chamber music, making her a standout figure in the classical music scene.
