Gordan Nikolić
Gordan Nikolić is a Franco-Serbian violinist and conductor renowned for his dynamic presence in the classical music world. Born in Brus, Serbia, in 1968, Nikolić began his violin journey at the tender age of seven and quickly showed exceptional talent, entering the Young Talent Institute at just nine years old. For nearly two decades, he served as the first concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra, leaving in 2017 to focus on his directing and teaching career. Nikolić is also the artistic director of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, where he conducts from the first violinist's chair without a baton, offering a unique and intimate connection with the ensemble. His performances are celebrated for their depth and emotional resonance, making him a standout figure in minimalist music.
