Hyeyoon Park

Hyeyoon Park is a celebrated South Korean violinist renowned for her outstanding style, virtuosity, and rich sonority. Born and raised in Seoul, she later moved to Cincinnati and Berlin, and now calls London her home. At just 17, she made history as the youngest winner of the prestigious ARD International Music Competition in Munich, launching her into the international spotlight. Park's musical journey began with her orchestral debut at the age of nine with the Seoul Philharmonic, showcasing her prodigious talent from a young age. She has since performed with esteemed orchestras worldwide, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. A passionate advocate for music education, Park is proud to serve as an ambassador for Music Masters, a charity providing classical music education to underprivileged children in the UK. Beyond her musical accomplishments, Park holds a PhD and is a lecturer in International Politics, demonstrating her multifaceted intellect and dedication to both art and academia. Her collaborations, notably with pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, have captivated audiences, highlighting her exceptional musicality and dynamic stage presence.
