Ioana Cristina Goicea is a remarkable Romanian-born violinist who has swiftly established herself as one of the most outstanding violinists of her generation. Her exceptional talent was recognised when she won the First Prize at the prestigious 2017 Michael Hill International Violin Competition. Goicea's discography includes the critically acclaimed album 'Recital', released in 2019, showcasing her virtuosic prowess and musical depth. She has performed extensively, including a notable performance of Korngold's Violin Concerto with Roderick Cox conducting, which was live-streamed as part of the Enescu Festival. Goicea's repertoire spans a wide range of styles, from classical masterpieces to contemporary works, demonstrating her versatility and artistic curiosity.
