Jacques Hétu

Jacques Hétu, born in Trois-Rivières in 1938, was one of Canada's most celebrated composers, renowned for his significant contributions to classical music. Beginning his musical journey at the age of 15, Hétu studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, where he earned the first prize in composition in 1961.
