Jeremy West

Jeremy West is a renowned British cornett (cornetto) player, celebrated for his virtuosity and pioneering efforts in reviving this historic instrument. With a career spanning 28 countries and over thirty major recordings, Jeremy has performed in iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Sydney Opera House. He is a founder member of His Majesty's Sagbutts & Cornetts, one of the leading ensembles in early music, and serves as Professor of Cornett at the Royal College of Music in London. Jeremy's specialty lies in environment art, with a focus on storytelling, character design, and 3D printing. His extensive discography includes works by Marc'Antonio Ingegneri, showcasing his dedication to the choral genre and his passion for bringing the cornett back into the spotlight.
