Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer (1656–1746) was a celebrated German Baroque composer, renowned in his time as one of the foremost musicians in southern Germany. Born in what is now the Czech Republic, Fischer served as the Kapellmeister to Margrave Ludwig of Baden for much of his career, leaving behind a rich legacy of sacred and instrumental music.
