Johannes Eccard

Johannes Eccard (1553-1611) was a prominent German composer and kapellmeister, renowned for his significant contributions to sacred vocal music. Beginning his musical journey as a chorister in the Weimar court, Eccard later studied under the esteemed Orlando Lassus in Munich.
