Kazuki Yamada

Kazuki Yamada is a dynamic Japanese conductor who has swiftly made a significant impact on the international classical music scene. Born in Hadano, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yamada's musical journey began at the Tokyo University of the Arts, where he honed his conducting skills. Currently, he serves as the Music Director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), a position he assumed in 2023, and has been appointed as the future Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO), starting in 2025.
