Knut Reiersrud

Knut Reiersrud is a renowned Norwegian blues guitarist who seamlessly blends traditional Norwegian folk music with African rhythms, creating a unique and captivating sound. Born in Oslo, Reiersrud has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including David Lindley, the Blind Boys of Alabama, and Rickie Lee Jones, as well as Middle Eastern performers like Rim Banna and Mahsa Vahdat. His extensive discography includes albums like "Gitar," produced by Bugge Wesseltoft, and "Ballads and Blues from the 20s Vol.1." Reiersrud is also a founding member of the band Cloudberry Cream and has worked closely with Norwegian organist Iver Kleive.
