Lera Auerbach is a multifaceted Russian-American composer, pianist, and poet, celebrated for her profound and innovative contributions to classical music. At 18, she left the Soviet Union for America, where she has since flourished as a conductor, pianist, and composer, as well as a painter, sculptor, and author of poetry.
