Mark Hambourg

Mark Hambourg, the Russian-British concert pianist, was a force of nature gifted with extraordinary facility. Born in Russia in 1879, he moved to Vienna at the age of twelve to study with the renowned Theodore Leschetizky, a teacher of many famous pianists. Hambourg's career spanned decades, leaving an indelible mark on the classical music world. As a brother to fellow musicians Jan and Boris Hambourg, music was clearly in his blood.
