Márta Gulyás

Márta Gulyás is a renowned classical pianist and esteemed professor, celebrated for her contributions to both performance and education. Born in 1953, she began her piano studies at the age of five and continued her education at the prestigious Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest under the guidance of István Lantos. Gulyás' exceptional talent earned her the prestigious Liszt Prize in 2002. Currently, she serves as the head of the chamber music department at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and has been a professor at the Madrid Royal Academy of Music since 1992. Known for her expertise in chamber music, Gulyás has also released notable recordings, including "Mozart's Complete Piano Trios" and "The Virtuoso Violin." Her dedication to nurturing young talent is evident through her students' frequent performances, showcasing her enduring impact on the world of classical music.
