Mike Melillo

Mike Melillo is an American pianist and composer born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1939, who has made a significant mark in the jazz world, particularly within the hard bop and bebop genres. Son of a double bass player, Melillo began playing piano informally at the age of five and started formal lessons a few years later.
