Naoko Yoshino

Naoko Yoshino is a renowned Japanese harpist celebrated for her technical virtuosity and cultural depth. Born in London, Yoshino began her harp studies at the age of six under the tutelage of Susann McDonald in Los Angeles. Her international career took off with notable achievements, including second prize at the First International Harp Competition in Rome in 1981 and first prize at the Ninth International Harp Contest in 1985, where she was the youngest competitor. Yoshino's repertoire spans a wide range of classical and Japanese classical music, and she has released several albums, including "The Healing Harp" and "Harp Adagios."
