Pandit Rajaram, affectionately known as Raja Kale, is a distinguished figure in the world of Indian classical, semi-classical, and devotional music. As a vocalist, composer, and scholar, Raja Kale's musical journey is marked by a rich lineage and a deep commitment to both tradition and innovation. A senior disciple of the legendary Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki, Raja Kale has also been greatly influenced by the renowned musicians Pt. C. P. Rele and Pt. Balasaheb Poonchwale of the Gwalior gharana. His performances are a testament to his eclectic approach, seamlessly blending old and new compositions of Hindustani classical music.
