Roots Tonic, the renowned rock-reggae trio, is celebrated for their dynamic collaboration with the iconic Matisyahu. Comprising Aaron Dugan on guitar and sounds, Josh Werner on bass and keyboard, and Jonah David on drums and percussion, Roots Tonic brought a distinctive energy to Matisyahu's live performances and studio recordings. Their musical journey began to gain traction with the release of Matisyahu's 2006 major label album 'Youth' and its dub counterpart, 'Youth Dub', where Roots Tonic was first mentioned. Together, they have crafted two studio albums and a live album, each offering a unique blend of reggae and rock that captivates audiences worldwide. Roots Tonic's contributions extend beyond their musical prowess, with Josh Werner also co-writing songs with Matisyahu, adding depth and authenticity to their collaborative work.
