Signe Emmeluth

Signe Emmeluth is a dynamic Danish saxophonist, composer, and improviser who has made her mark on the vibrant Nordic and international jazz scenes. Currently based in Oslo, Emmeluth's music is deeply rooted in free jazz and avant-garde styles, showcasing her exceptional skill and innovative approach. Her latest album draws inspiration from Irish folklore, particularly the mythical banshee, blending traditional elements with her contemporary sound. As a rising star, Emmeluth leads her own quartet, Emmeluth's Amoeba, and has collaborated with various artists, demonstrating her versatility and creative prowess. With a background from the NTNU Jazz Department in Trondheim, she continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with her unique musical vision.
