Sir John Gielgud

Sir John Gielgud, born Arthur John Gielgud in 1904, was an iconic figure in British theatre, renowned for his mastery of Shakespearean roles and his prolific career that spanned eight decades. Hailing from a theatrical dynasty, with the legendary Ellen Terry as his great-aunt, Gielgud's journey began in 1922, and he quickly established himself as one of the most revered actors of his generation.
