Trio Pasquier

The Trio Pasquier, a renowned chamber music ensemble, has a rich history dating back to 1927. Originally comprising three brothers—violinist Jean Pasquier, violist Joseph Pasquier, and cellist Pierre Pasquier—the trio was a dedicated ensemble with over 75 works dedicated to them by notable composers such as Françaix and Jolivet. The trio's legacy continued with Régis Pasquier, son of Pierre, forming the New Pasquier Trio in 1970, carrying forward the family's musical heritage. Known for their exquisite performances, the Trio Pasquier has left an indelible mark on the world of chamber music, with their interpretations of classical masterpieces like Beethoven's Sérénade in D Major and Schubert's Trio in B flat major being particularly celebrated. Their recordings, such as the one featuring Mozart, are cherished by music enthusiasts worldwide.
