Winchester Cathedral Choir

Winchester Cathedral Choir is a renowned professional choir based at the historic Winchester Cathedral in Hampshire, England. With a rich tradition spanning over 900 years, the choir is celebrated for its musical excellence and continues to inspire both visitors and worshippers with its daily services and performances. Comprising 18 boy choristers, 18 girl choristers, and 12 lay clerks, the choir sings eight services weekly in the cathedral, showcasing a repertoire that spans all periods of choral music. The boy choristers, who attend The Pilgrims' School, receive comprehensive musical training, while the girl choristers and lay clerks contribute to the choir's diverse and dynamic sound.
