Tomšič began her musical journey at the age of four, studying under Professor Zori Zarnik, and later became a distinguished professor herself. In 2020, she celebrated her 80th birthday, 75 years of performing, and 60 years with the Slovenian Philharmonic, where she holds an honorary membership.
