Anton Rubinstein, born in 1829, was a towering figure in the world of 19th-century music, renowned as a pianist, composer, conductor, and educator. Rubinstein's influence was profound, as he founded the prestigious Saint Petersburg Conservatory and was the elder brother of Nikolai Rubinstein, who established the Moscow Conservatory.
